Words by our Group CEO

The business has moved along very well in the last months. Despite the big challenges with both raw material costs and shortage of components. Customers are continuing to be positive and see that their end-users need equipment and are still ordering from our companies.

We have been affected by the steel price increases as well as with other raw materials such as aluminum during the spring. We now start to see that these commodity prices are coming back down. Something that is much needed. These heavy cost increases disrupt any business model, and it takes time before we see its full effects of it. Also, semiconductor availability has been difficult, to say the least. Our teams have been doing well in sourcing components and supporting our customers, but it has also come at a cost in increased cost for us and the customers. Ultimately all these extra costs have to be absorbed, and in the end, it will be the consumer or end-user who pays.

Currently, we have been working hard to manage the day-to-day operations. In uncertain times it is important to control what you have at hand.

On the acquisition front, we start to see more interesting possibilities than during the first part of 2022. We are having some ongoing discussions, and hopefully, we can conclude some within a reasonable timeframe. We currently have some opportunities in the Industry and Electronics Cluster.
